Note, do not confuse this with a factory reset
Why Reboot?
Power cycling (unplugging and plugging back in) your router can help:
-
Clear up minor glitches or slowdowns
-
Refresh your connection to the internet
-
Improve performance if devices aren’t connecting correctly
-
Resolve certain issues like buffering or intermittent drops
How Often Should I Do This?
We recommend rebooting your router month, or anytime things start to feel slower than usual.
To reboot:
-
Unplug the power from your router
-
Wait 30 seconds
-
Plug it back in and give it 2–3 minutes to fully reboot
💡 If you’re using a managed router from us, we can help remotely troubleshoot or reboot it if needed.
