ACH Payment Authorization Policy
At DayStarr Communications, protecting your financial information is a top priority. To ensure the highest level of security and compliance, all ACH (Automated Clearing House) payments must be authorized directly through your bank via your online banking portal.
Why This Is Our Policy:
- Enhanced Security: Authorizing ACH payments through your bank eliminates the need for DayStarr or our payment processor (Stripe) to manually enter or store your full account and routing numbers.
- Minimized Risk: This method greatly reduces the risk of data breaches or unauthorized access, as no third party stores your complete banking information—only your bank retains that data.
- Industry Standard: This approach is quickly becoming the industry norm for ACH payments. Many financial institutions and service providers are adopting similar procedures to improve consumer protection and data integrity.
Staff Assistance Limitations:
To maintain the highest level of security and reduce liability, DayStarr staff cannot assist customers with logging into or authorizing payments through their online banking portals. This ensures that your sensitive banking credentials remain private and secure, and are only shared directly with your financial institution.
Alternative Payment Methods:
If you are not comfortable logging into your online banking portal to authorize ACH payments, you may choose to pay using a credit or debit card, a check or cash. However, please note that autopay discounts are only available for ACH payments.
Autopay with Peace of Mind:
Once authorized through your online banking, Stripe—our secure payment processor—receives permission to initiate monthly withdrawals. No manual handling of your account information is involved, and no middleman has access to your complete banking credentials.
